Your primary goal is to climb upward as high as humanly possible. Attach yourself securely to wooden rungs and pegs along the vertical track. From each rung, you must pull back and release the chicken like a real slingshot. Fling your bird high into the air to catch the next peg higher up.
The vertical climbing track is entirely endless. However, it gets significantly harder as you climb higher. Dangerous spinning saws guard some of the wooden rungs. Thick wood boards block half of the active flight lane. You must fly cleanly through the small open gaps to survive. Other complex hazards appear at higher heights to disrupt your trajectory. Watch out for slanted beams, floating diamonds, and moving pills. Dodge dense stone blocks and spinning wheels that block your ascent.
Fortunately, helpful golden eggs float along your flight paths as bonus pickups. Collect these eggs to increase your coin count in the main HUD. You do not climb this dangerous tower alone. A simulated rival chicken climbs alongside you throughout the match. This AI opponent constantly gains meters over time. Each standard match lasts exactly 90 seconds. You win the game by ending with more vertical meters than your rival.
If you happen to die mid-match, your score freezes at your peak height. The match will end shortly after your sudden crash. You can still win the round if your peak height stays ahead of the rival. Outside of regular matches, you can earn coins and rank points. Spend your riches to unlock cool cosmetics. Play a fast Quick Match or tackle the competitive Coop Climb ladder.
